We have pushed Death away from Life, the dying away from the living - all in order to impose the illusion of control on the uncertainty of change. We have lost touch with the natural world and with our place in it as mortal animals. We have forgotten "how to die."

People have often wondered,what have I done or not done if I die. I have no Regrets for the pass only what I do not do in the future. Have no fear of death because I know how to live, just don't want to be there when it happens.

Great hub. Death is such a mysterious subject. People are often afraid of the "D" word because it represents the unknown and forbidden. Furthermore, people are fearful of death because of religious indoctrination regarding the issues of heaven and hell. Many people are quite fearful of the so-called "negative" connections of death.
Many people live in preparation for death; however, they are just meandering in life but not actually LIVING AND SAVORING LIFE! This is sad. People live life as if it was a sentence, not a gift from God or the Universal Force.

More people are motivated by fear than love and the worst concept man has ever invented is the fear of hell. Fear is the unknowns and spiritualism is that mass among of that unknowns. It always a matter of time and work to come to a deeper understanding and acceptance of what is.
